Munie's brace leads San Jose to 3-0 win over Sporting KC

Daniel Munie scored twice and Preston Judd added a goal to lead the San Jose Earthquakes to a 3-0 victory over Sporting Kansas City in their MLS opener.

Munie and Preston Judd scored four minutes apart in the first half, with Munie adding a second goal in the 54th minute to secure the win.

San Jose outshot Sporting Kansas City 18-7 and held a 15-3 edge in corner kicks. The Quakes' victory came against a SKC team that finished last in the Western Conference last season.
