Red Sox's Bello Impresses In First WBC Start Vs. Tigers

Boston Red Sox pitcher Brayan Bello looked sharp in his first World Baseball Classic start, allowing just one hit over three innings against the Detroit Tigers.

Bello tossed 42 pitches, 26 for strikes, and kept his velocity around 95 mph. He allowed zero earned runs, one hit, and struck out two in three innings.

The strong performance comes just days after video surfaced of Bello receiving advice from Red Sox legend Pedro Martinez.
