Scott McLaughlin Secures Pole at St. Petersburg

Scott McLaughlin secured pole position for the IndyCar season opener at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, turning a best lap of 1:00.5426.

McLaughlin took the top spot for Team Penske, starting alongside Marcus Ericsson on the front row.

Rookie Dennis Hauger qualified third, ahead of four-time champion Alex Palou, as McLaughlin looks to rebound after a tough 2025 season.
