Steelers DB Wagner Dies at 76

Former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Mike Wagner, a key part of the franchise's famed Steel Curtain dynasty, has died at age 76, the team announced Wednesday.

Wagner was a member of four Super Bowl-winning teams with the Steelers, recording interceptions in the team's first two championship victories at Super Bowl IX and X. Over his 10-season career, he notched 36 interceptions and earned two Pro Bowl nods.

Team owner Art Rooney II praised Wagner's toughness, consistency, and team-first mentality, saying he was 'an integral part of some of the most successful teams in Pittsburgh Steelers history.'
