Contrary to previous speculation, Fightful Select has clarified that Tommaso Ciampa's surprise debut on AEW Dynamite on January 28 couldn't have been scheduled for the prior week. According to AEW sources directly, Ciampa was still under contract with WWE until January 28, making his earlier appearance impossible.

The 'Psycho Killer' revealed his debut came together at the last minute while on a family vacation in Texas. After debuting on Dynamite, Ciampa continued his vacation, won the TNT Championship at AEW Collision, and still had time to finish his vacation before the following week's TV shows.
