Tottenham's Savinho Pursuit Blocked by City

Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Manchester City winger Savinho, with the Premier League champions firmly rejecting any potential transfer.

Manchester City have made their position clear regarding Tottenham target Savinho, describing the Brazilian winger as "untouchable" despite ongoing interest from Spurs. Tottenham's £70 million bid was rejected last summer, and no fresh approach has followed.

City's resolve is strengthened by Savinho's contract until June 2031, with any potential departure beginning at £75 million to £80 million. The 20-year-old has two goals and two assists in 23 appearances this season, but Pep Guardiola remains committed to developing him into a top-tier winger. Juventus and La Liga clubs are also monitoring the situation, but Savinho is reportedly happy at City and focused on securing regular minutes to earn a place in Brazil's 2026 World Cup squad.
