Raiders Embrace Youth With Kubiak Hiring

The Las Vegas Raiders have named 38-year-old Klint Kubiak as their new head coach, marking a significant shift toward youth in the team's coaching staff.

Kubiak's arrival reduces the average age of the Raiders' top coaching staff from nearly 62 years old to nearly 38 in just one offseason. He's joined by offensive coordinator Andrew Janocko (37) and defensive coordinator Rob Leonard (38).

Despite their youth, the trio brings substantial NFL experience with Kubiak entering his 13th NFL season, Janocko with 14 seasons, and Leonard with 13 seasons. This contrasts sharply with the previous staff led by 74-year-old Pete Carroll.
