Rockford to Host 2027 Women's Baseball World Cup Finals

Rockford has been selected to host the World Baseball Softball Confederation Women's Baseball World Cup Finals in July 2027, with the Group Stage taking place in July 2026.

Rockford will host the Women's Baseball World Cup Finals July 19-25, 2027, at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park. This marks the first time the event will be held in Illinois.

Japan has won the last seven World Cups, while Team USA claimed the first two titles in 2004 and 2006. The International Women's Baseball Center is also working on a multi-phase renovation project at Beyer Stadium.
