Lebanon's Jayden Bailey Remembered at Beech High Game

Lebanon High School basketball player Jayden Bailey, who died Feb. 19 after a cancer battle, was honored during a Beech High playoff game with a tribute board and a GoFundMe QR code.

During the District 7‑4A semifinal at Beech High, fans saw a tribute board featuring a photo of 17‑year‑old Jayden Bailey, a GoFundMe QR code, and the message 'Support Jayden Bailey's Cancer Battle.' The board honored the player who lost his left arm to cancer and continued to play for Lebanon High.

Lebanon's senior Marques Anglin scored 18 points in the 46‑44 win, saying Bailey's presence was felt on the court. Coach Jim McDowell recalled how Bailey returned to practice after hospital stays and still played, describing him as a 'hooper' who loved the game.
